Minding the Gap wordt gecoördineerd en uitgevoerd door een interdisciplinair team van wetenschappelijk onderzoekers van de Universiteit Utrecht en het Amsterdam UMC. Deze onderzoekers werken samen met verschillende partners in een consortium. Ook wordt samengewerkt met jongeren en ouders zelf.
